Information we collect

Right now, this site does very little. When you join the waitlist we collect:

• Contact details: your name and email address.
• Location (optional): the city or ZIP code you provide, so we can tell you when Appts opens near you.
• Your preferences (optional):whether you join as a customer or a business and the service categories you tell us you’re interested in.
• Business details (optional): if you join as a business, the business name and category you provide.
• Signup context: which part of the site you signed up from.
• Limited technical data: basic, aggregate analytics about how the site is used (such as pages viewed and general region), collected in a privacy-friendly, cookieless way and only if you consent. We do not build advertising profiles.

How we use it

• To add you to our launch waitlist and email you when early access opens near you.
• To send you occasional, relevant updates about Appts. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To understand, secure, and improve the site.
• To comply with legal obligations.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:

• Service providers (processors) who act on our behalf — most notably Klaviyo, which powers our waitlist and email, and our hosting/analytics providers.
• Legal & safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers — e.g. in connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

Your US state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, US state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and the comprehensive laws of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Maryland, and other states as they take effect — may give you the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete your personal information.
• Obtain a portable copy of your data.
• Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell or share your personal information, but you may still exercise this right.
• Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@appts.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by your state’s law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted.

“Do Not Sell or Share” & Global Privacy Control

Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of for that purpose. Even so, we honor browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of any non-essential analytics, and you can review or withdraw consent any time via Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

Data retention

We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purposes above.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
